Title

Leading What’s Next: Projects, People & Impact Across Industries

Abstract

What does it take to turn an ambitious idea into meaningful impact? Across industries and disciplines, leaders are navigating increasingly complex initiatives that require vision, collaboration, adaptability, and the ability to bring diverse people together around a common goal.

In this engaging conversation, three senior leaders from Florida International University representing distinct disciplines will take attendees inside the projects, challenges, and opportunities shaping their fields and South Florida. From science and exploration with reach extending to Shark Week, medicine, architecture, the arts, and beyond, the conversation will reveal what it really takes to move bold ideas from vision to execution.

Through real world examples, the session will explore how leaders navigate competing priorities, engage stakeholders, build partnerships, and lead through uncertainty. They will also share their perspectives on some of the most important challenges and opportunities facing South Florida, who needs to be at the table, and where project management can help create greater impact.

Attendees will leave with perspectives from three very different worlds and a deeper understanding of how the discipline of project management can help organizations, industries, and communities turn ambitious ideas into meaningful results.
