Biography

Dr. Kenneth A. Jessell is the Immediate Past President of Florida International University (FIU), where he now serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer and Professor of Finance in the College of Business.

During his tenure as FIU’s sixth president, he led the university through a period of strategic growth, strengthening its financial position, academic reputation, and regional partnerships. With more than 16 years of executive leadership at FIU and over 42 years in the State University System of Florida, he remains a key advocate for higher education and economic development across South Florida
